Hi! I'm Brittany, former first grade teacher turned private teacher and tutor. My journey in education began as a little girl’s dream of becoming a teacher. I pursued that dream by obtaining a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as Middle School ELA. But it's the hands-on experiences with my students that have truly shaped my approach and love for teaching. 

Teaching is more than a job to me, it's a passion. I've been blessed enough to turn that passion into a career where I can help kids not just learn, but find joy in the learning process itself. 

Recently, I've delved into the Science of Reading and the Orton-Gillingham approach, trainings that have been game-changers in helping students overcome challenges and truly grasp reading and writing. I believe every child has the potential to excel, and my goal is to help them discover that for themselves. It's not just about improving grades; it's about building confidence, nurturing curiosity, and sparking a lifelong love for learning. Whether it's tackling new words, mastering a tricky math concept, or exploring the vast world of Language Arts, I'm here to guide, support, and cheer on your child every step of the way.
